Reliable, High-Yield Crop
Pink radish microgreens are a favorite among growers due to their consistent and high yields. A typical 10 x 20′ grow tray can be seeded with around 25 grams, producing up to 250 grams of fresh, tender greens. This makes them an ideal choice for both personal use and small-scale commercial operations.
Fast and Easy to Grow
Pink radish microgreens are a quick-growing crop, ready for harvest in just 7-10 days. They are ideal for both novice and experienced gardeners, thriving in various growing conditions. Whether you’re using hemp mats, coco coir, or organic soil, these microgreens are low-maintenance and deliver great results. For optimal growth, we recommend using hemp grow mats and bottom watering, along with a small amount of Microgreen Plant Nutrient to boost growth and flavor.
Growing Instructions
- Sow Rate: Use approximately 25 grams of seeds per 10 x 20′ grow tray.
- Pre-soak: No pre-soaking is required for China Rose Radish seeds.
- Planting: Fill your tray with 3 – 4 cm of soil, coco coir, or use hemp grow mats. Moisten the surface, then sprinkle the seeds evenly, pressing gently to ensure good contact. Avoid overcrowding to ensure optimal growth.
- Germination: Cover the seeds with a tray lid and place them in a dark, well-ventilated area. Lightly water once or twice daily, keeping the tray covered for the first 2 – 3 days to support germination.
- Light Exposure: Once germinated, remove the cover and place the tray in indirect light. Continue watering using the bottom-watering method 1 – 2 times daily to keep the soil or grow medium consistently moist but not overly wet.
- Harvest: Ready in approximately 7 – 10 days, these microgreens can be harvested by cutting just above the soil level once the first true leaves appear.
