How to Grow Mizuna

Space rows: 40 cm apart.
Space plants: 5 cm.
Sowing depth: 0.6 cm.
Germination: 6 – 8 days.
Soil temperature: 12-20°C.
Maturity: 21 – 40 days.
Grow in Spring, Winter and Autumn.
Avoid growing in extreme heat or cold.
Keep well watered. Moist soil. Full sun.

Very green barely any purple

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the colour of this variety didn't perform as well as you had hoped. Similar to most other varieties of red or purple mustard, the colour is very much dependent on the climate. The purple/red colour deepens with cool weather, and performs best during the winter months. You can grow mizunas and mustards in subtropical or tropical climates, but the colour consistency will be best if grown in temperate or cool climates.
