  • Low-growing herb with delicate, ferny foliage and a mild aniseed flavour.
  • Closely related to parsley; part of the classic French ‘fines herbes’.
  • Best grown in cool weather—heat causes bolting.

How to Grow Chervil as Microgreens

  • Do not pre-soak seeds.
  • Use approx. 28 grams of seed for a 10 x 20″ tray.
  • Fill tray with 2–3 cm of soil or hydroponic medium and moisten well.
  • Scatter seeds evenly and press gently into surface. Cover lightly.
  • Cover with a blackout dome or another tray. Keep in a cool, dark area.
  • Water 1–2 times daily and uncover after 3–4 days for light exposure.

Harvest (Microgreens): 12–24 days. Slow-growing but highly aromatic and delicate. Harvest just above soil line.
