MICROGREEN Onion Seeds
What are Microgreens?
Microgreens are young, edible greens that are harvested at an early stage of growth, typically when the first true leaves (the second set of leaves) have developed. They are smaller than baby greens and larger than sprouts, often measuring 1-3 inches in height. Microgreens are valued for their intense flavors, vibrant colors, and nutrient density, making them popular as garnishes, in salads, sandwiches, and as ingredients in various dishes.
Benefits of Growing Onion Microgreens
Grow all year round and get a steady supply of nutritious greens. From seed to harvest, onion microgreens only take 2-3 weeks. Onion can also be grown as sprouts, with a harvest time of only 4-5 days.
Add an onion flavour to your dishes without ‘onion tears’. Onion microgreens have the same intense onion flavour as regular onions, and a mellow and sweet aftertaste.
